چکیده

Chlorophenols are one on the indicators for monitoring dioxins. It is reported that correlation is between the amount of chlorophenols and dioxin which are generated by garbage incineration. Moreover, if chlorine processing of the phenol in tap water is carried out, chlorophenols are generated and the nasty smell has been a problem. Furthermore, the estrogenic activity of 2,4dichlorophenol as the chlorophenols has been extensively evaluated by in virto assays. Then, the monitoring of chlorophenols in an environmental medium is important issue.

Analysis of biogenic carbonyl compounds in rainwater by stir bar sorptive extraction technique with chemical derivatization and gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry

Stir bar sorptive extraction is a powerful technique for the extraction and analysis of organic compounds in aqueous matrices. Carbonyl compounds are ubiquitous components in rainwater, however, it is a major challenge to accurately identify and sensitively quantify carbonyls from rainwater due to the complex matrix. A stir bar sorptive extraction technique was developed to efficiently extract ...

Measurement of benzophenones in human urine samples by stir bar sorptive extraction and thermal desorption-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.

Determination of benzophenones (BPs) in human urine samples by stir bar sorptive extraction (SBSE) and thermal desorption (TD)-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) is described. As analytes, BP, its metabolites benzhydrol (BP-OH) and 2-hydroxybenzophenone (2OH-BP), and its derivatives 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone (BP-3) and 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-4'-methylbenzophenone (BP-10) were selec...

A Novel Extraction Procedure for Stir Bar Sorptive Extraction (SBSE): Sequential SBSE for Uniform Enrichment of Organic Pollutants in Water Samples

A novel stir bar sorptive extraction (SBSE) procedure termed sequential SBSE was developed. Compared to conventional SBSE, sequential SBSE provides more uniform enrichment over the entire polarity/volatility range for organic pollutants at ultra-trace levels in water. Sequential SBSE consists of a SBSE performed sequentially on a 5-mL sample fi rst without modifi er using one stir bar, then on ...

Performance evaluation of thermal desorption system (TDS) for detection of basic drugs in forensic samples by GC-MS.

Stir bar sorptive extraction is an innovative sample extraction technique that can be used to process blood, urine, and tissue samples for routine drug screening in the forensic toxicology laboratory. The Gerstel Twister desorption unit (TDU) system is a multifunctional desorption unit capable of determining the presence of analytes from liquid samples after extraction using the Twister stir ba...

Environmentally friendly analysis of emerging contaminants by pressurized hot water extraction-stir bar sorptive extraction-derivatization and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.

This work describes the development, optimization, and validation of a new method for the simultaneous determination of a wide range of pharmaceuticals (beta-blockers, lipid regulators…) and personal care products (fragrances, UV filters, phthalates…) in both aqueous and solid environmental matrices. Target compounds were extracted from sediments using pressurized hot water extraction followed ...
